You may have noticed a new business on Lake Street, Dutchess Cannabis. The store opened this summer and has replaced the former cannabis store Med Men. Along with the new ownership comes a new philosophy; Dutchess Cannabis was founded by Owner Meg Rubino, who is redefining the retail cannabis experience.
According to Meg, an avid cannabis consumer and practicing attorney, “I am passionate about education, taboo-busting, and de-stigmatizing its use as a responsible adult and professional.”
Choosing Downtown Oak Park to open its second location was an easy decision. “It feels like a community as much as a retail location. I think one of our favorite things is all the people out and about walking their dogs; we love when they stop in to say hello!” said Meg.
