Meet Kenneth Scott, the Managing Partner of Downtown Oak Park’s new Smoothie King! Smoothie King will be opening in February at 1016 Lake Street, right down the street from Lake Theatre. They are setting out to inspire a healthy and active lifestyle for residents of Oak Park and surrounding communities. Kenneth and his family have lived on the border of Oak Park and always loved the neighborhood and its vibe. He knew that they were destined to open a Smoothie King in Oak Park.
Kenneth has more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience, and will be working with his family and business partners: Derek, Trevor, and Tamara. Together, the family has a diverse background, from owning and operating restaurants in Seattle & Nashville, to experience in engineering, finance, and education! If you visit Smoothie King, you’ll probably see Justin, the new Store Manager & the smiling face of DTOP’s Smoothie King. He has years of retail experience and is excited to open their doors to the community.
