“Make REAL Change, Not Spare Change” Campaign
The Village of Oak Park has launched the “Make REAL Change, Not Spare Change” campaign. The aim of this campaign is to shift the narrative around panhandling by encouraging meaningful and impactful ways to support those in need. As donations are received, the money will be given to the Village in order to purchase hotel and food vouchers that can be used to support unhoused residents in the community.
